WORKSHOPS FOR THERAPISTS
10:00-12:00 – Integrated Neuro-muscular Inhibition Technique – INIT
Trigger Points and Myo-fascial syndromes are extremely difficult to treat, MET and standard strain/counter strain techniques may be effective in the short term but these points seem to reoccur and conditions worsen nevertheless. With a deeper understanding of how these points and symptoms arise and are maintained we can more effectively treat them. INIT is an extremely useful tool to bring chronic myofascial dysfunction to an end. You will learn to identify common TrP’s and their characteristics and identify when INIT would be the preferred treatment mode for presenting symptoms. In this workshop you will be able to perform an INIT protocol to treat TrP’s effectively.
