Relaxed, pampered, and regenerated – That’s how we want to make you feel with this healing women’s circle.
We’ll be practicing specific yoga moves and relaxation, as well as simple and effective self-massage techniques for the face, foot and belly.
What is the difference between a day on this yoga retreat and a day at the spa? The relaxation effect may be similar, but you’ll feel more empowered, as my aim will be to teach you these techniques so you can then integrate them into your life for long-lasting effects.
You will receive an outline afterwards to help with your personal practice.
10 am – 12 am: introduction, then yoga asanas, breathing and meditation focusing on women’s health.
12 am – 1 pm: lunch break (bring your own lunch or stroll down the road to local shops)
1 pm to 3 pm: yoga nidra (guided meditation, lying down), self-massage with aromatherapy, closing circle with cup of herbal tea and question time.
What to bring? Comfy yoga clothes, a warm jumper, a warm pair of socks, a medium-sized towel, your lunch if you choose to, and a personal object like a feather, candle, image, bracelet, etc., to place in the circle (you will take it back home with you).
Who is this for? Women of all yoga “levels” and age-groups (over 16), except pregnant ladies.
Who is the teacher? Susanne Haegele (www.yoga-in-action.com) has been teaching yoga for 10 years. She currently offers hatha, vinyasa and restorative yoga classes at the West London Buddhist Centre and holds a special qualification in perinatal yoga and Wellwoman Yoga from Birthlight (www.birthlight.com).
