If you’ve never been to Dalston’s famous Eastern Curve Garden perhaps this October is the time to bring the family on Saturday 20 or Sunday 21 October. There’s community and fun to be had with everybody welcome to carve a pumpkin together and participate in this year’s wonderful pumpkin lantern festival that takes place from the evening of Sunday 21st October to Friday 26th
Yes all are welcome adults, young people and children. Our hard-working team of volunteers are happy to work with younger children to help them create their lanterns. It’s free to take part, but we do ask for donations to cover the cost of the pumpkin and most importantly, all of the carved pumpkins stay in the Garden to make our brilliant lantern show the following week.
The first night of the show on Sunday 21st is reserved for those who have carved their own pumpkins that weekend but why not visit and experience this wonderful community asset yourself any evening the following week to enjoy a drink in the garden and the spooky halloween atmosphere.
