Hello my name is Tao Chi Kai, I was born in Vietnam and came to the UK when I was only 3 years old as a refugee. My family and I were exiled from Vietnam because of the political upheaval during the war with the US.
LY CHI GUNG is my family tradition QIGONG. The simplest way to describe it is “MOVING MEDITATION”. There is strong emphasis on core and centre of being along with focus and awareness of ones breath and its relationship with our body mechanics.
Ly Chi gung is very versatile for both internal and external martial arts and it can be practiced on most terrains and in most climates; wind, water, rain, sand, rock or snow. An ancient practice still practiced today that can improve and increase your health, well-being, inner peace, focus and give you a positive outlook on YOUR LIFE!
Things to expect:
– Muscle and Tendon Changing Classic.
-The Eight Brocade.
– Pre & Post meditation practice.
– Self defense drills and applications.
This devotional class will last up to 3 hours depending on the day and how people are feeling.
A continuation of what we have been learning in my regular indoor classes throughout the winter but more in depth.
At the end of each class, I will ask one person to help me demonstrate the application of HOLISTIC MASSAGE from the practice of Ly Chi Gung so that they and the other students can learn how to massage their friends and family. I am accredited, recommended and insured. DBS Checked.
