This is a rare opportunity to experience a weekend of silent yoga and mindfulness meditation practice in the relaxing and nurturing environment of The Tree.
For those people who would like to deepen their practice. This is an ideal opportunity to enjoy the precious gift of silence while at the same time improving your health, calming your mind and awakening to your true basic nature.
Noble silence begins after evening practice on Friday and ends after breakfast on Sunday. The weekend will consist of yoga, meditation, mantra and breathing practice (pranayama) and relaxation. There is the opportunity to receive a silent massage on Saturday afternoon. These can be booked on Friday night. There will be readings from a spiritual book on Saturday evening.
Participants on the weekend will be expected to agree to certain guidelines and will have a chance to ask any questions in a pre-weekend phone conversation. A full evening meal will be served on Friday night. On Saturday, breakfast and lunch will be the main meals of the day with a lighter snack served in the early evening (all in silence). The retreat will end after lunch on Sunday. No alcohol will be served on this weekend.

21.00 “Ice breaker” and intro to the weekend, guided breathing meditation and a nice relaxation to end the evening. Session at the Chapel Yoga Studio next door.
22.00 Begin Silence.

10.00 Introduction to the benefits of mindfulness.Silent breathing/ contemplation and walking.
12.45 Silent Lunch.
14.00 Sauna and Jacuzzi switched on!
14.00 – 18.00 Enjoy the therapy sessions of your choice: Swedish or Aromatherapy back massage,
15.00 Afternoon tea is served in the dining room.
19.15 Vegetarian evening meal
21.00pm (Optional) Reading/ Guided contemplation/ relaxation in the Chapel Yoga studio.
07.30 Optional early morning Yoga.
09.00 Breakfast – porridge, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, green juices.
10.00 Silent mindful breathing/ contemplation and walking.
11.00 End Silence.
11.15- 12.45 Integrating our experience and suggestions for continuing your practice at home.
13.00 The Famous “Tree” Sunday Lunch.
14.00 Depart for home, truly relaxed and energised! or extend your relaxation and stay and enjoy an extra day and night on a B&B basis.
